Mussolente (VI), March 7, 2026 – Scicon Sports introduces Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, the evolution of one of the most iconic cycling eyewear designs of recent years. A project that sets a new benchmark in high-performance sports eyewear, thanks to the use of advanced materials, proprietary technical solutions and exceptional manufacturing quality.
In 2020, Scicon Sports officially entered the sports eyewear market, quickly becoming the supplier of four World Tour Teams. In just a few months, the brand reached the most prestigious stages of professional cycling, winning the Tour de France with Tadej Pogačar and hundreds of international races. The model worn by athletes was Aeroshade, which rapidly established itself as an icon of high-performance cycling eyewear, symbolizing vision and a distinctive racing style.
After more than five years of success, the Innovation & Design Center at Scicon Sports decided to renew this winning product by deeply re-engineering materials, design and functionality, giving life to Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium.
Titanium: structural excellence and long-term durability
The component that has undergone the most significant transformation is the titanium temples. Titanium offers exceptional chemical and mechanical resistance, ensuring long-term durability even in aggressive environments and virtually eliminating material degradation over time. It is highly elastic, resistant to permanent deformation, and retains its properties even under extreme temperatures, both high and low.
Unlike conventional temples bent or stamped from sheet metal, Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium is crafted from a solid titanium rod and refined through more than 20 precision manufacturing steps. Every detail is engineered to deliver controlled flexibility, lasting comfort and uncompromising race-level performance.
Redesigned front frame, integrated ventilation and enhanced comfort
The front frame has also been completely redesigned. The new geometry features a modern, squared and streamlined design, expressing a bold and contemporary aesthetic while integrating a series of micro-ventilation ports engineered to improve airflow and reduce fogging during intense efforts.
The new Flexifit 2.0 nose pad, soft and highly adaptable, conforms naturally to any face shape and integrates Horizon Adapt™, the height-adjustment system that allows riders to fine-tune eyewear positioning. This exclusive Scicon Sports solution optimizes field of vision, stability and long-term comfort.
Hi-Contrast™ lenses: precise vision in every condition
Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium is available with Hi-Contrast™ mirrored and photochromic cylindrical lenses, specifically designed to meet the demands of high-performance cycling. Multiple filter categories and VLT (Visible Light Transmission) values ensure consistent performance across all light conditions.
Each lens is finished using precision laser cutting, delivering a premium aesthetic, reducing fingerprint accumulation and limiting exposed surfaces that could be prone to scratches. The Hi-Contrast™ technology enhances details in low-visibility conditions, improves terrain definition, amplifies contrast while maintaining a neutral color profile, and reduces eye fatigue during long rides. All lenses also feature the Nanotech™ hydrophobic and oleophobic coating, promoting the rapid shedding of water, oil and impurities for consistently clear vision.
