In September, I took my wife and kids to Europe as we do every year. This year we brought our bikes. On the way out, we had two Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Bike cases for the bigger bikes and kids’ bikes were expertly packed in the cardboard boxes from our local bike shop. The time it took me to put the kids’ bikes together after we landed, seemed like forever. So much so, that even after getting our rental car, we were sitting in the parking lot for about two hours trying to sort everything out. The minimal disassembly required for the bikes, coupled with smart and efficient design of the bag, lead us to purchase two additional Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Bike bags for the kids’ bikes. Because honestly, I was not going to even attempt to repack their bikes in the cardboard boxes. Needless to say, for the first time flying with bikes, the process of disassembly and secure packing, was a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone looking to fly with a road bike.
